I gotta reservation about nailing Saddam alive. He's jailed and 250 people are grabbed somewhere and will be killed unless he's turned loose. Happened before, SOP of the terrorists.

The hazards of war are many and change often.

Would you prefer one of our Green Berets committed an act of murder and was court-martialed and executed or imprisoned for the rest of his life?

I guarantee you that one won't work. Not on Saddam. Plus, no one cares for him that much. He ruled with fear, not loyalty.
