Bectel is a close crony of Bush-Cheney. Geo Schultz the head of Bectel was the one who first got GW to run for governor, promising they "they" would back him. Since Bectel is not in Texas what was Schultz doing king-making there? Simple, they saw GW as potential presidential frontman material. And now he is. Tme for payback. Billions to Bectel from the Iraq War. Cheney loves Bectel because they build nuclear power plants. They'd love to get tax-payers to build those babies everywhere and dump the waste in our landfills.
