If they are moderates then I am truly glad to not be one of them. A bunch of pipe smoking cow pie hat wearing pseudo intellectual peck sniffs who claim to be the only ones that truly know the way. I am definitely not one of them and I am very proud of that.

look at Baker's background: Member 3523850 He couldn't be anything other than an extreme leftist. I haven't noticed any moderation to his political commentary either. He even gets prickly about his stock picks, though he is a fairly good analyst when it comes to fundamentals. Tsigprofit is another one. He posts on the ratdog thread and sometimes comes up with the most extreme BS I've seen around SI. The other day it had to do with Japan. I'd have to find the series to jog my recollection, but I frankly couldn't believe that anyone on that thread was willing to even converse with him after that. It was that extreme. <edit> I couldn't find tsig's Japan posts, but here's an excellent illustration of his alleged "moderation": Message 19585714 sounded like a nutball to me.
