Actually, I think it was $375,000. :-) I agree, I don't think Saddam was imprisoned there against his will, but given his physical condition and demeanor when found, it looks to me like whoever was sheltering him was in charge, not Saddam. It's also feasible that whoever was sheltering him was trying to sell him out or was willing to. $375,000 is chump change compared to $25 million bucks.
