He's jailed and 250 people are grabbed somewhere and will be killed unless he's turned loose.

I am glad they got him alive. There is a chance they might get info from him. And the "Show Trial" will give us a good chance to rub the Worlds nose in what he did.

I just worry about a huge hostage situation demanding his release.

We all do! And your concern is legitimate, but will not drive our combat decision making process.

We have forces 100% trained and prepared to respond immediately to any huge hostage situation anywhere.
