WASHINGTON, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Western Digital Corp.,(NYSE:WDC - News) which makes computer hard-disk drives, on Monday said it expected its second-quarter revenues would be in the range of $790 million to $810 million.
That range is higher than the previous guidance of $760 million to $780 million, the company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission (News - Websites) filing, because of a "favorable product mix".

Earnings per share were expected to remain within previous guidance of 28 cents to 30 cents per share, the company said, but added that gross margin percentage for the quarter will be lower than previous guidance of 18 percent.
