You KNOW what's going to happen there. We're not going to leave until we have an American owned government to insure our oil supply and give us some leverage with the Saudis. The Iraqis will see right through this, as will the rest of the world. The insurgency will morph into "freedom fighters" as the "democratic" Iraqi government is revealed to be totally controlled by the US, and the new Iraqi army will be our surrogate oppressors and hated targets for every jihaddi in the region. But not before a lot more Americans die.
