The Bears haven't done a good job of evaluating talent for over a decade. A few good decisions and lots of bad ones.

It appears Jauron will be back but his offensive coordinator, who has been a lightning rod for criticism, will not. The defense has been ok much of the time, so the changes will likely be on the offensive side of the ball.

I still think they're at least 3 years away from being good, and that's assuming they suddenly start bringing in the right talent at key positions. The Stewart fiasco may have been a case of trying to get whatever was available and having him take the hits until Grossman was ready. Though if that was the strategy they could have paid less.
