2MARS, Life, wherever it came from in anyone's mind, or how it came to exist, is the prime force of this planet, and probably the entire universe. What we do with our lives has a bearing on what kind of people we become in relation to our fellow beings. Myself, and many others, faltered in certain stages of their lifetimes, and duly suffered for such actions. The most important thing to do, in that respect, is to learn from our mistakes, and make the correct changes to make our life, and the lives of those around us, a better contribution to the overall existence of man.
When a person, such as elect, decide that they are higher than all others, he ultimately causes more harm than good.
I feel, in my heart, that Jesus was a unique, and special kind of man during his life on Earth. I have, personally, felt His presence, and have benefited from it in more ways than I can count. Even if He was not the Son of God, He was such an influence on mankind to change the world for the good, and His being here led the way for a better world if mankind had the good sense to follow His lead. Unfortunately, man decided to ignore His message of peace, and togetherness, and even took His message, and grew apart, and formed their own denominations, even when Jesus taught harmony among men.
Life, and God, are linked in such a way that they cannot be separated in man's mind, or the message misses it's point.
I cannot be, absolutely, sure that there is a heaven or a hell, but man can make his own hell on Earth, or achieve a balance in his life that could be considered a form of heaven, which I consider to be a place of happiness, contentment, void of anger or conflict, and love for all the creatures of the Earth, or in the universe. There is so much out there that we are not aware of, it is too much for the human mind to comprehend.
I don't care what any group calls their deity as long as the aim is to improve, protect, and love, all life known to man. To fight with each other over insignificant points of religion is just inane, and does nothing toward advancing the life on Earth. There is no room for nitpickers in the relationships of all the members of mankind. |
