GM is starting to come back down today, finally.

I was sweating it a little bit.

This morning it was right around my mental stop.
Had it not been early yet I may have tossed in the towel.

My new self-imposed rules dictate that if I lose more than
1% in my trading portfolio I have to sit out for a month.
(Each month starts anew.)

It sucks sometimes but it should cut my losses to no more
than 6% a year...

Those damn losing streaks are what kill me. I try too hard
to make it back and only dig myself in deeper.

Now I get to refocus during my off time and figure my next
move with a clear head. It really makes me think whether
or not I want the specific trade before making it.

Therefore, I'll vote for #2 <g>
assuming you mean near term as Shack said. He didn't define "near term" so I will define it as within the next week.
