as many years as I have been trading I still do not understand 90% of the trade action that takes place, especially on the AMEX

today on OHB smack at the 9:30 open there were about 35 prints at 30.00; a total of 18,000 shares

I know they were real as my 28.80 and 29.60 short orders filled there

the next trade did not print until 9:50

and almost every print since then has been lower

so why did someone buy those at 30?

to juice the price and make it look like it was going to run?

to take out short stop losses?

or just plain dumb?
