The pharmas should simply stop exporting drugs to socialist countries. The more they die in places like Canada, the less they'll be interested in stealing our property. A great idea I heard about is a "socialism tariff", which would tax the difference between the price-fixed prices in socialist countries and the prices here-and using the tax for additional biotech research.
