KB,

At Nuremburg they tried and convicted Fritz Thyssen, who provided the cash to grow the Nazi Party. But they did not try Prescott Bush and Averill Harriman who not only provided all the financing to Thyssen so that he could fund the Nazi party but also set up a Nazi front bank, a trading organization, and a shipping firm in America to arm the Brownshirts. (Confiscated from Pres. Bush grandfather and his Nazi partners under the Trading with the Enemy Act.)

Likewise I don't expect that the CIA operatives who sheltered, fed, and trained Saddam in Cairo and inserted him back into Iraq and the US policy makers who guided this strategy of placing him in power and arming him to the hilt will face trial either.
