Do you KNOW orca, Duray, lb, sylvia, .... are US citizens? How? They'd do well as al Qaeda propagandists from what I can tell.

Regardless of how you try to twist matters, this is where we started:
Canada was our ally in WW1 and WW2 and all through the Cold War. It's a NATO member. It's a NAFTA member. It's a NORAD member.
That's a **** of a lot more than can be said of Frogland.
France may have technically sort been an ally in WW2, but it fell so fast it didn't matter. Yeah, some "Free French" fought with the Allies. Just as many fought with the Germans. France USED TO BE a NATO ally. Saying it is now stretching the meaning of "ally" beyond the breaking point. And with friends like the French, who needs enemies, anyway? France deserted the Cold War allies a mere 15 years into that 45 year struggle.

Some ally.

Canada stands out like a shining beacon in comparison.

You don't like the fact that I and many other Americans don't consider France a friend? We didn't consider the USSR a friend either. So what?

"without even a possibility of criticism"

We all choose our sides, even you. Criticism of the Arab world is as much in evidence in your discussions as Albert's criticism of America or Israel. Irony abounds.
