Canadians are great and I do visit Canada often - I just don't like one individual Canadians who posts here. And you are right about Canada been an independent country, no argument here. But why should we not use reconstruction money to encourage cooperation. We are not talking about international funds but rather about specific US contribution that is not matched by any other country. Canada has the full right to bid on international funds but US money has nothing to do with free trade. As far as free trade in NA then I have to object. Canadian government control does not go well together with my understanding of what free trade should be
