C2, <Check this article on advanced personal gliders out. Pretty cool stuff with some investment potential due to military applications. >

Amazing suicide bombers swooping through the sky and blowing up right on target! They could swoop right through the Oval Office window before the guards woke up to what's happening.

They'd have to be replaced every time too, so there would be lots of re-orders; until the supply of suicide bombers runs out or the suicide bombers win.

I can't think of other military applications. Sure, Delta Force guys could swoop around the sky, but there really aren't many people to shoot up there. They are more likely to find somebody in a cave in Tora Bora or in a dugout like Saddam's. They can just drive up in a nice, comfy, SUV rather than jumping out of an aircraft and flying around without bat sonar to avoid seagulls, bats, insects and each other things. Better than having to open a parachute in the right place with the risk of getting stuck in some 12,000 volt power supply lines.

If they do need to jump out of an aircraft to get somewhere, regular parachutes are pretty good. Just free-fall to the right height, then cruise in for a landing in exactly the right spot.

But imagine chartering a 747, with 500 suicide bombers packed in, [no luggage or freight so they could be packed in like sardines - maybe 800 on one flight]. 500 x 50 kg of bombs. Each person could have their own target and fly right on in.
