Thanks man. I'm hired pending the outcome of my background check, which will be fine. But then today, she asked to see my college transcript. Oh, Lord.
All I can say is, during my last semester, I was working at the newspaper more than I had expected. I ended up dropping a couple of classes and my grades still stunk.
Problem is, on the employment app, it asked for how many hours I completed. For some reason, a number stuck in my mind, which I now believe is incorrect. The number I put down did not reflect the two classes I dropped.
I picked up my transcript today at the college and, first thing in the morning, I'm going back and I'm going to admit my mistake.
It was 23 years ago, but if I wasn't sure, I shouldn't have answered the question.
But I'll say this: The people I have met there are just fantastic. When they say they're the most admired company in telecom, I now know why.
Don't buy the stock. But it sure seems like a great place to work.
