So BUSH is LOWERING THE STANDARDS TO PROTECT US FROM DEADLY MERCURY....very scary.....
he cares nothing about people, the environment, or the animals.....he is a sad human being with no conscience except to those that have financial interests that he can protect and enhance

A major, probably the major source of atmospheric mercury is coal and garbage fired power plants. The very kind that Bush exempted.

<font color=maroon>FAMS results in comparison with monitoring of surface water inputs to the Everglades show that > 95% of the annual mercury budget comes from rain. Dry deposition likely adds significantly to the overall atmospheric input. It is clear that the major source of mercury to the Everglades is from the air.</font>
