Interesting article in our local paper about retiree health care benefits. Apparently quite a few firms have capped their per person retiree health benefit contributions. So the retirees have to pay all the additional costs after these caps are hit. And some of them are being hit already.

Another significant drag on confidence and spending that will only get worse over time. But a great deal for corporate America as retirees get squeezed ever harder.
