I thought it would only be a hiccup but I expected some gut wrenching volatility today... yawn ... lol...

I'm more convinced than ever now to just leave my trusts I have alone and forget about them as long as they can keep paying. The balance of my portfolio I trade but that's everything from E&P's to tech to metals to wheat.. but actually I'm not trading any trusts.... I don't mind selling them though like with Advantage when I've made a huge capital gain while collecting dividends :o) I have a fixed % return I'm aiming for as a minimum annually and these last two years I'm better than on track. Eventually I'll have more income generating stuff and likely a lower return but hopefully lower risk... Right now I've 25% of my portfolio in trusts of different stripes. I expect that 'core' percent to grow steadily ..... That's the plan anyway.. house is paid in two years yahooooo.. and cash flow will then improve :o)

regards
Kastel
