None of what you wrote had anything to do with where I started. I started with "Yeah, Canada did not back the US on Iraq. But overall, Canada has been a very good friend and ally of the US." You French may not appreciate that as much now that the Canadian PM is no longer French. I do believe the rest of the Canadians will, though.
