Wasn't, the day prior to Saddam's capture, there a wire service release reporting that members of the Iraqi Governing Council had a desire to try him in Iraq, in absentia?

Has this now been reduced as irreleveant due to the fact they now got him? Or was the premature call for a trial in absentia merely a Bush propaganda tool that was being set up in the event they didn't capture him?
