Anyone is a budget hawk compared to Bush. He spends more than anyone and taxes less than anyone. Even a third grade math student could put two and two together there. Duh. Huge deficits. tax cuts are fine when they're directly stimulative but Bush's cuts mainly help the wealthiest people who have too much money anyway. Why should they be in a hurry to spend more?
