Watch the effing TV set, Lazarus Long. Do you have one? Your hero always refers to medical professionals as "Docs." In these ridiculous "town hall" settings ... and today in this "news conference." The intent is twofold: #1. To discredit doctors as mere servants. The sublty of the message implies that corporate medical benefits for employees are superficial and unnecessary; and that the destruction of Medicare benefits for the retired is a good thing ... as the "docs" and the "lawyers" are simply handmaidens that responsible people such as Bush supporters don't really need ... they're just a "luxury" that people who "take responsibility for themselves" don't really need. Like a gardener or a twice-a-week cleaning service. #2. "Docs," such as Howard Dean, are less than qualified to take on a role as CEO from their microfocused scientific perspective. Intellectuals aren't "fit" to run countries, or corporations. LMAO. Like Bush is. lb
