The media may never change. Katie Couric was on this morning grilling a State Dept official about how we can assure a fair trial for Saddam.

Funny, I don't remember her asking those types of questions on behalf of the abortion clinic shooter...

This can be a most powerful weapon in the hands of the GOP. Imagine, after such a dearth of positive news coming out of Iraq, if the GOP were to start running spots showing Iraq "Before and After," with Bush doing the narration. Just imagine smiling Iraqi kids and lovely Iraqi women in schools and walking the streets in freedom, the American flag superimposed in the background. The Dems really have cut their own throats. But I wonder if the GOP has the guts to exploit the opportunity.
