I'd go for those ideas you have. I just think there is something to be said for the convenience of sitting at your desk and voting.

As far as fraud is concerned, if there is a way to do electronic payments over the web, then there is certainly an acceptable approach to voting out there. Something auditable, etc. For sure we don't want to put something in that isn't ready and right now no electronic approach seems ready.
