Lurqer, There is a huge amount of money tied up in this. John Henry is resolute in his desire for a championship. He reminds me of Bob Kraft, another really shrewd business guy. The thing they both have in common is that they want the very best talent along with good chemistry in the locker room. They won't go out and just hire hired guns. The advantage the Red Sox have now is two fold - they were very poorly managed the past 10 years before Henry and his guys took over, plus they won a lot of games last year (all except the one big one). So the fans are enjoying a well managed club and having some wins along the way - pure fun. It will be interesting to watch this team next season. Altair19
