Bruno - its down nearly $10 in just over 24 hours. That is not normal. Something made it do this today. Yes selling but that much for a company that has re-affirmed and is doing better than it has ever done?????? Best, L

NOV-DEC 1997 NOV 4 - Hi ALL, stock is up 2 7/8 do you guys have any idea why? One answer could be the awesome financial write-up written by two great analysts. [I could be kidding but...!] To prove that he is the best analyst ever 8-), Mr Rex will attend the conference tomorrow. NOV 5 - We got past 30 - b 30 1/8 NOV - 5 Next barrier probably 32? What do you think. I still don't expect a dramatic increase like 1st half of October. Street still skiddish on stock NOV 5 - 1/4 million shares in volume in the 1st half hour or so. Looks like its gonna be a big day. But 30 seems to be a barrier right now. OOOps, no more. NOV 17 Well, we close at 29 5/8, up 1 3/16. Bid 29 7/16, ask 29 5/8, high 29 3/4, volume = 481K. We will catch up with IOM tomorrow which closes today at 30 7/8. Sandisk will be probably featured in the IBD's New America page fairly soon. It has been a while since it has been featured in IBD. NOV 18 - Falling flash prices: techweb.com NOV 19 (BLOOMBERG) "SanDisk sold 3 million shares at 28 in a $84 million public offering. The sale, led by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, raised $79.8 million for the company after fees. . . The trade date is Nov 18th. Settlement is scheduled for Nov 24th." DEC 2 - Anyone got a spare parachute??? 23 and counting down DEC 12 - SNDK at 20 1/2. Hope it stays up. <eom> DEC 12 - Then sell it short here at 19 3/4 and you'll make some money... if you are right... But if yu are wrong this dog of ours has the potential to double in a matter of weeks DEC 16 - << when a stock falls as sharply as SNDK has last few weeks, that there may be some negative information that we are not privvy to.>> yep. more sellers than buyers. DEC 17 - Does anyone have a sneeky suspicion about some potential news to explain today's volume? DEC 29 - When I checked, 16 3/8 trade is a late report of a trade that took place earlier in the day. After market trades indicated from 17 to 17 1/4 DEC 29 - Is today the last day to sell for 1997 income tax or was it Friday? I also agree that something stinks as too many shares have been sold off! If Seagate or institutions sell off that doesn't bother me as much as when insiders do it! I expect insiders to hold the course or at least make public whatever info they have to make them sell. However, I have to admit that the stock has appreciated a fair bit during the year and it is better to take some profit now and buy back in later. I guess we may never know. Dec 30 - (from Yahoo) SNDK - 11:02AM, 18 5/16, +1 1/8, 260,600 DEC 30 - (from Yahoo) Msg: 55 of 65049 Is this a free-fall or what? What is going on? Must be bad news. DEC 31 - Glad he who bought two days ago @ 15 3/4. The stock last traded @ 20 3/8. I didn't have the guts to buy more. Poor me Best, L
