And the Indians do the unthinkable..

India beat Australia in second Test by four wickets
(Updated at 1120 PST)
ADELAIDE, Australia: India won the second cricket Test against Australia by four wickets on the final day at the Adelaide Oval here on Tuesday. It was India's first win in Australia for almost 23 years and third win in their last four Tests with the Australians.

It was the first time in almost 10 years that Australia have gone one down in a home Test series since losing to South Africa in the second Sydney Test by five runs in January 1994.

Man-of-the-match Rahul Dravid, whose first innings 233 was the highest by an Indian batsman outside of India, hit the winning runs in his unbeaten 72.

Australia must win at least one of the remaining two Tests in Melbourne and
Sydney to prevent losing their first home series since going down 2-1 to the
West Indies in 1992-93.

Match scores: Australia 556 and 196; India 523 and 233 for 6.
