Scooter, American League East is becoming like the arms race. I think it's good for baseball because the off season is fun to follow and the regular season sure as hell should be. John Henry is placing a huge bet, first, buying the team, and second acquiring the right players. His background is a hedge funds - probably a good match, plus he loves baseball and hires smart people to manage the team and run the farm system. That being said, the Yankees have continuously beat us each year for a loooooong time. The Bambino is looking down and probably smiling. Altair@baseballghosts.com
