Please hold on to your seat when you read this internal TA report on Gold by Citi Group.

You won’t believe your eyes !!!! see p 21,22,23

"Nevertheless, now that London gold has closed over the psychologically important $400.00 per troy ounce level, we can now technically project additional upside targets to $467.00 and possibly as high as $540.00 based primarily on the strength of our intermediate- and long-term technical models."

"Longer term, the structural profile of gold suggests even higher levels may be possible. We would like to utilize any pause as an opportunity to initiate/add to positions."

On Gold shares :

"If the XAU index penetrates 112.00, which we believe is possible based on the intermediate- and long-term momentum model readings, we could then project upside targets to 130.00–132.00 and possibly back to those February highs at 155.60, or approximately 17% and 45%, respectively, from current levels." "We have no objection to taking profits at any time, but based on the positive longer-term technical profile, we would maintain a core position, around which one might then trade the shorter-term swings."

Why this kind of information isn’t in the public domain is beyond me. Their official outlook is much more bearish.
All the Best....
