Shalom - the post you refer to may have been "mean spirited" or it may have been "righteous hatred" I do not think you believe that God hates - so there is nothing I can do with that. When Greg sunk to such a low as to tell James to go back to being an alcoholic. That was enough for me. How can you not thing what Greg wrote was "mean spirited"? How can you not think Greg deserves to be told to go to hell. Message 18867220 Greg used the fact that James willingly admits to be an alcoholic previously in his life - uses James web page designed to help bring alcoholics to the light of Christ and smears it in his face LIKE SHIT I repeat Greg can GO TO HELL Greg has a major problem - he can condemn but he can not convince. Think about it Shalom - if getting the 'timing' right' concerning the second coming is so critical..... Then most of the people through history that believed what he does are now in hell. They almost unanimously believed Christ would return in their lifetime. I thank God that eschatology is not what salvation is based upon because everyone has a lot of guess work when they present their views on the second coming. Let me tell you a little secret - Greg condemn me to hell long before I did him - he just did it in a politically correct manner. I love you Brian - please repent or burn - boo hoo - Oh well I warned you heretic!!! I listened to all of Greg's godless crap until he attacked James in such a hateful manner. I am not sorry for what I said to Greg - even to this day. I appreciate the fact that you are sick of the garbage that goes on around here but if you think about it - there is little chance of changing that. Churches put forth creeds and statements of faith so that if anyone comes into their assembly and decides to start tearing others down about what they believe they can be asked to leave. Not because they are sure they are right - but because they have decided they believe those things and are settled in it. The church has publicly decreed their position and will not tolerate any "mean spirited" debate. Here it is anything goes. This is a thread started by a prankster who decided to "ask god" which stocks to buy one night. He got a bit of a surprise but certainly did not intend for this to be a forum for actual biblical discussion. This thread is not moderated nor are there any guidelines other than the one that apply to all the threads. I am sorry if you are offended at the heat with which I spoke to Greg. I now have that man on ignore - I am done with Greg McRitchie. He has made a non critical issue into a place for him to condemn others. Someone died and made him pope obviously. I do my best to give every man a fair shake. To those who are civil - I am civil. To those who are willing to look at scriptures - I am perfectly glad to look at scriptures. But to those who set themselves up as the judges of Christ or to those who insist on simply asserting their theories I have no time. I have better things to do than to wrestle with idiots. I have 10 children and a lovely wife. I work a full time job and then come home and study the stock markets. I do my best to teach my children the scriptures and spend time with them. Spending time with idiots is stealing from my family and from God. Kicking the dust off your heels is also a Christian thing to do sometimes. I am more than happy to discuss and share what I have learned over the years and sincerely believe that God has been very kind in showing me much of what the scriptures mean. I don't get a kick out of some "kid" who can not even list the ten commandments telling me I am a heretic because his church said so. I am even less impressed with someone who would use the tactics that Greg was willing to use against James without repenting. AS far as minding your own business - I am glad you brought this up. Perhaps it is time to put my cards on table with you any way. I see no benefit in many of the 'poems' you have posted. My bible says that the road to idolatry is "line upon line" "here a little there a little" slowly but surely in today's language. I have been reading the bible for 25 years - but so have many popes to no avail. However - to those who do not see any need to even quote the bible I prefer to hear from the pope and Rome! It is God's word that has been left as the lamp and map to truth. Not the wisdom of poetic men. Especially when they pretend to speak on Christ's behalf. You ask me to lighten up. I can't - that would be to sin against God. People ask me to join in the "celebrations" this time of year engenders. I can't - that would be to sin against God. People ask me to join there churches in spite of the obvious errors I can't - that would be to sin against God. I do not say that all I have said is blameless - not even close. I do not say that I showed as much patience as I could. I will say Shalom - that with every man who has ever posted to me I have done my best to be civil and to discuss what God has shown me to be His truth. I do not believe I began any of those things that lead to my saying things like GO TO HELL GREG but I do believe, as God is my witness, they have well earned my disrespect. Go back and read all the posts - tell me I did not try with Greg. I literally begged Greg to be reasonable more than once! My final analysis - he is a self righteous church dork unworthy of my time.
