When we, the US, do something bad and say it is because we want to achieve something good, it does not make it right. We find Saddam and you think that makes everything right, but it doesn't. The ends do not justify the means. By pretending otherwise you destroy the foundations of our society, our freedom, our democracy.

We just liberated Iraq. That is a good thing, not a bad thing. Ask the Iraqis.

There are too many diverse voices and the safeguards of free press and open dissent and debate inherent in the free society of the modern world , to allow this alarming "destruction of the foundations of democracy" .We have already long ago admitted that we had supported Saddam in the past as we have admitted to supporting the Taliban . But past bad mistakes can & have been corrected .
After more than 3000 of our citizens were killed in one terrible and horrific ambush.

But on another note you might find very alarming..... Baghdad Bob , the former "Information Minister of Iraq " (LOL) Muhammad Said al-Sahhaf who was seen roaming around downtown Baghdad , has just informed the world press that American forces are still futilely searching for their most illustrious leader and didn't capture Saddam Hussein at all , who is still alive and ruling Iraq ...and will return triumphantly.

the man we caught was Santa Claus.

(but your views & alarms are always appreciated GST)
