We have always had those visa's, I presume you are complaining about the INCREASE in the numbers under CLINTON. Personally, I dont blame Clinton for that. If you recall, due to the Y2K hype there was a FRENZY of activity to update software. We JUST DIDNT HAVE enough people to do the job. Those that were here (americans) took full advantage of the situation DEMANDING 3 MONTH CONTRACTS with BIG RENEWAL BONUS'S AND RAISES. So, in a sense, the programmers themselves caused their current situation. Companies HAD to turn SOMEWHERE to get the job done and when they found they could do it far cheaper somewhere else and not put up with the bullying tactics of their employees they jumped at it. jdn
