He was once a deputy AG when he was fresh out of law school. He worked for the State of Washington representing the Dept of Labor and Industry. That is where and when (early 60s) he cut his teeth on workmen's compensation and varied labor complaints. He then used this experience to practice in these areas privately. Unfortunately there are as many abuses in workmens comp claims filed fraudulently as there are legitimate and worthy claims. The cost to businesses is very high. I have filmed quite a few of these injured guys cutting firewood and moving refrigerators etc.. lol
