Well, its a start. Once American Conservative Magazine starts to tell the truth about the police riots in Miami for the FTAA meetings, then we'll be getting somewhere.

I had dinner last night with a friend who was there. She's diminuitive, all of 5'0" and 98 pounds and 69 years old. She was scared out of her wits by what she witnessed in Miami. And she's seen the action in Seattle, Washington (where she was rudely rounded up like cattle and arrested), Cancun, Ft. Benning for the SOA protests and many other actions. Miami was the worst, by far. The worst example of George Bush's Police State to raise its ugly head so far. Pure militarism and bullying. No respect for the citizenry or the law whatsoever.

Bush's suppression of free speech will make for some great political ads. Someone should get some aerial footage panning back and forth between the Bush supporters that are being protected by the Secret Service and the opponents that are being arrested by local police. They could also quote the judge who said whatever happened to I don't agree with but I'll fight to death for your right to say it.

James Bovard does great work exposing the truth with documented facts. Check out his new book: Terrorism and Tyranny: Trampling Freedom, Justice and Peace to Rid the World of Evil by James Bovard

I'd like to see every Congressman that voted for the Patriot Act voted out of office. It's time for a clean sweep so we can get people who actually represent the people.
