Approaching 40 (and panicking about it, perhaps). Remember, she had never seen a bear market until the bubble burst. No perspective and a feeling of entitlement, making her susceptible to the ideas that everything WAS perfect (a real "new paradigm" true-believer, remember) and that she was robbed.
