Either, McDermott knew about Hussein beforehand and, like Bush, decided to withhold information for political purposes. Or, McDermott doesn't know sh't about anything and talks before he thinks. Not so fast... You missed a third possibility: perhaps Rep. McDermott didn't want to end up among the select few --Senators Leahy and Daschle a.o.-- who were mailed an ANTHRAX letter....
