<Our enemy is Islamism. It is a motivating ideology for much of the Islamic world, and it feeds off the despair and failure of the Arab states for the last 60 years. In the end, we cannot defeat it - only other Muslims can. But we can deny it victories, show up its battlefield and economic bankruptcy, and create case studies of free markets, rule of law and democracy improving the lives even of Arabs.>

What hogwash. Iraq had nothing to do with "Islamism". Go to Saudi Arabia or Pakistan and you will find the enemy that you claim is "our enemy". Saddam was our choice of leader to fight your battle against "Islamism" -- only he failed for the same reason that our policies under Bush will fail. He failed because the ends do not justify the means. As for "our enemy" it is not Islamism, it is hatred, and that includes the hatred that is fed to the world by Israel. Your hatred of the arab world is one of many threats to our national security. Israel is part of the problem and so is North Korea, and neither can be called "Islamist".
