82% of primary voters in 1992 made up their minds within two weeks of the voting. That was the last time we had a large field of candidates. The poll numbers you see now are fluid because only about a third of those people have made up their minds, plus undecided is the real leader. I agree that Clark has a shot now, but don't count Kerry out yet. If he does well in Iowa and New Hampshire no reason why he couldn't make a run for it. In many ways he is the strongest candidate in the race. Bushies probably fear him more than any of the others. Kerry-Clark would be formidable.
