Hi Yogi, you said that the government is behind the curve on LED lighting. That's not completely true! In fact, USAF is using Carmanah's solar-powered LED lighting at air bases in Iraq and elsewhere. Likewise, USCG has started implementing that technology for marine applications and just this week approved them for use in Private Aids-To-Navigation (1/2 of the market). Many transit agencies are evaluating solar bus stops but most city governments are, uh, a little short on cash these days.
