Yes, definitely... I have already been replacing some bulbs and lamps and night lights with LED models in our home for the past two years now, and they are great to use in the summer with extremely low heat output which also saves on air conditioning costs.... They also will last ten or more years... LED flashlights have been hot for a few years now, and they let the batteries last a very long time. I have a lot of those now.
