Seems to me if we really do enter a debt deflation -- not only will foreigners initially continue to support the dollar -- but folks holding risky paper will be forced to buy treasuries with what they have left of the other ... You guys seem to think this happens overnight sometime ... Also, on the other side of the equation is demand for new debt -- that also drops in a debt deflation, too. Look how far the dollar has already dropped -- why isn't the TNX at double digits ... Have you ever considered -- just for a moment -- that the whole world may go the way of Japan??
