Is it any wonder?

From your post I gleamed this one:

>>> BTW, the Bilderbergers are certainly real. They meet every year. A few faces change each time, but the cast of characters has one predominant characteristic. Every one is European, European-American or European-Israeli. There are no Asians, there are no Africans, there are no indigenous Latino Americanos. A very exclusive club, indeed. This year featuring, prominently, Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz. Wonder why? :)<<<

Back in the early 90s, I organized a public health vs. criminality drug policy conference at the Harvard Law School. Just prior to my conference was another event at Harvard, at the JFK School of Government. It was the First Goldsmith Award for Investigative Journalism, w/Bob Hewitt of 60 Minutes and Bob Woodward of the Washington Post as co-recipients. A high number, if not representatives of all, of U.S. media elite were present, with Mrs. Edward R. Murrow as the Guess of Honor. Morley Safer was the moderator.

So I went to it hoping to notch some support for my conference.

When I got there I found myself seated next to one of two microphones centered in a large audience of obviously very well-established people, and there also the media with cameras, pads and mics in the background all set to record the history to this.

So the award was presented and next came question and answer. I got to the second spot for a question. I originally planned on asking a question relative to my conference.

But I bagged the idea when I found myself standing in the middle of the room. Yes, there I was standing in the middle of the U.S. media elite and where was the miniority representation of the media? You see, in this kind of event there are none.

So at least give a consideration to the Bilderbergers and what that's all about. Next think about what I just described. This certainly prompts the following: Would it at all be prudent to question not only authority, but also the media which reports about it?

Yup. With war and all these are sticky days for all people, whether they realize; or not.

Raymond > It's so nice to talk to an adult here on SI.

I'm glad what I say pleases you. I can assure you that not everyone has the same response to my posts as you do. Some get VERY angry.

> Here's a good summation of the sleaze that American's aren't taught about in school

Amazing how the US has been able to portray itself and its agenda in quite different colors. Indeed, the honest, peace-loving cowboy in a world of crooks.

> That is some kind of gullible public

Indeed, and, as a non-American, something that I cannot understand. Is it due to something they put in the food or a drug that everyone takes? In fact, it reminds me of the emperor without clothes, but on a grand scale. Everyone can see he is naked but he is so deluded, so self-centered, so arrogant, that he persuades himself that he is immaculately clothed.

> I don't see "the system" coming to a point, but rather being a hydra-headed agglomeration of individuals who are each fulfilling a role in a grand plan. Not a conspiracy, per se.

This is the hard part to understand. Surely, if these guys are calling the shots, then someone, or at least a particular few, has to be in charge. Everyone can't be boss --- there can't be 1000 chiefs. And, I wonder how the policy decisions are made? They can't simply be about all for me and nothing for you or let's screw blackie or let's screw those coolies. Or is it?! Anyway, I have no doubt that there is a definite continuity and a definite purpose behind the agenda. It is definitely not ad hoc nor is it random. And, strangely enough, it often seems in contradiction or at variance to its ultimate purpose eg they will support the overthrow of whites by blacks in Africa or they will support Islamic fundamentalism, all the while proclaiming to be desirous of democracy when nothing could be further from their minds.

> Sociopathically dangerous, in fact

It is interesting how unscrupulous these people are. They are, in fact, fanatics.

> A very exclusive club, indeed. This year featuring, prominently, Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz. Wonder why? :)

I know they meet every year in a different and remote place and the membership includes many famous people. So, they are THE guys and that is what the game is all about --- to belong in that club. That club is in fact Heaven! God's paradise they tell us we will go to if we say our prayers, wash behind our ears and eat our Post Toasties. And Dickie Boy and Wolfie Baby must have done just that.

> But then, I'm just a goy.

Look boykie, don't let that worry you. These days, membership of the tribe is not so exclusive. I'm told all one needs is a circumcised tool, a couple of shekels and a letter from the rabbi of the reform temple stating she knows your family from the "old days" in Lithuania --- and voila --- you are a Yid! In fact, I'm not too sure that they actually care much about the tool or the letter, but the shekels, that's for sure. You cannot be a proper Yid if you don't have shekels. And the more the better.
