there was never any doubt in my mind that the BOJ is going to fail. my question was about the stock market. the BOJ can slow the $'s descent (there is no question that w/o the BOJ intervention so far the $ would be lower), which should allow the bond yields to stay lower, as the BOJ buying helps suppress interest rates.

I'm wondering if you think rates being kept lower than they'd otherwise be may support this pig of a market well into next year.
