That's how Japan did. They 'attacked' from where no one was looking In fact they first exported their vehicles to Finland back in the 60s' They've tuned their vehicles for western tastes there and the rest is history.
The Chinese will succeed. You go there it cheap to sell and implement you get a incumbent position, don't exploit this incumbent position too much and you exclude all the others.
I did this for Siemens in Nigeria and even today Siemens 'own' a good part of the telecoms Nigerian market.
I am so good at this kind of 'Wayo' that today my friend asked me if I want to go there help him with a project:
