Unless he's lying - That is his defining characteristic! As you indicated before, at his age and health he already has plenty of money. He apparently does not think highly of his offspring so he's not looking for a dynasty. He just wants the score. He want's that money to pass into his balance sheet so he can gloat at his perceived enemies. Cheney is a major force behind the characteristic motivation of the administration where it is not nearly as important to win, as it is to make the opponent lose. TP
