You do not have to pay for R&D only if you are a pig <gggg> Jokes (or insults) aside, Canadian government fixing the prices would lead to problems between US and Canada. American voters don't like Canadians paying less so it is not unlikely that pharm co might pull out of Canada and you'll be left without medications from US. I am not in pharm business but I know that when insurance companies faced similar regulations in CA they were ready to pull out of the state. Now, pharm companies would find it easier to pull out of foreign country. Best of luck then.....
