OTOH in a socialist society government does "negotiate" the prices. re: The US system is corrupt. Corporations are not to be offended, screw the little person struggling to survive. Profits are almighty the little people can and do hold the stocks in those corporations. Capitalism proved to be superior social structure to socialism. You don't feel it because you have a rich neighbor who is kind enough to pay your bills.
