diplomacy without the backing of a very strong military is worth absolutely zero. Good point. But let us examine the situation with Afghanistan and Iraq. The US demonstrated its military might. You would think that diplomacy would now work. But what has happened to countries giving monetary aid to Iraq? Baker is out there talking about Iraqi debt relief. It is too early to tell. YOu ask, am I skeptical. sure I am. We will have to see if your statement "..you are wrong.." pans out.
